Launch offer

£1 per vehicle, per month, for 3 years

For the first 1,000 vehicles on MissionDuty. Every feature, the AI fleet admin included.

  • A 3-year term, paid monthly by Direct Debit. The price stays at £1 + VAT per vehicle for all 3 years.
  • The 3 years start when your free trial ends.
  • A place is taken each time you add a van, car, HGV, trailer, plant or other equipment, and stays yours for the 3 years.
  • After 3 years you move to standard per-vehicle pricing for your fleet size. We'll tell you at least 60 days before, and you can leave instead if you would rather.

Places are taken as customers add vehicles, so the number left can change while you sign up. Full details are in the Terms of Service.

Frequently asked questions

How does the launch offer work?

The first 1000 vehicles on MissionDuty, across all customers, cost £1 + VAT per vehicle per month, fixed for 3 years from the end of your free trial. It's a 3-year term, paid monthly by Direct Debit, with every feature, the AI fleet admin included. A place is taken each time you add a van, car, HGV, trailer, plant or other equipment, and stays yours for the 3 years. Once all 1000 are taken, the offer closes. After 3 years you move to standard per-vehicle pricing for your fleet size, with at least 60 days' written notice, and you can leave instead if you would rather.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial, for up to 5 vehicles, with every feature. No payment details are needed to start it.

How is MissionDuty billed?

By UK Direct Debit, at the start of each month for that month, for the vehicles on your account then. Billing starts when your free trial ends: if that's part-way through a month, the first payment covers only the days left in it, at a pro rata price. You set up the Direct Debit before your trial ends; nothing is collected before then. There's no setup fee and no charge per user. Billing is monthly rolling by default, with optional 12-month and multi-year terms at up to 18% off. The Terms of Service say how each can end.

How do I end my subscription?

An administrator gives notice under Admin > Billing, which shows the end date first. Monthly rolling billing needs one month's notice. 12-month and multi-year terms, and the launch offer, can end at any anniversary of their start with a month's notice. After the end date you have 30 days to download your data before it's deleted.

What happens as my fleet grows or shrinks?

Your bill follows it. Add or dispose of vehicles whenever you like; each month is billed for the vehicles you have then, at the price for that fleet size. There are no plans to switch between and no vehicle limit on a paid account. During the free trial you can add a limited number of vehicles.

Can prices change during my term?

Prices can rise once a year, by no more than inflation, with written notice first. This applies to 12-month and multi-year terms too. The launch offer is the exception: its price is fixed for its 3 years. The Terms of Service set out the details.

How long are job card records kept?

When a job card is closed, MissionDuty keeps a copy, with any paper job sheets added to it, for 18 months as standard. Longer retention is available at an extra cost; contact us. You decide what your maintenance records need to contain and how long to keep them.

Can I change my billing term later?

Yes. Contact support to move between monthly rolling billing and a 12-month or multi-year term.

What do the AI features need?

Your organisation's own AI account, connected with its API key under Admin settings. That keeps you in control of your data for UK GDPR: your fleet records go to an AI provider only under your organisation's own account and agreement with it, not through an AI account of MissionDuty's, and MissionDuty doesn't use your data to train AI models. It also leaves you free to choose the provider and model, and to manage what the AI features cost, billed to you directly by the provider. The AI fleet admin works with a Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI) key; Ask MissionDuty search and reading documents and quotations use a Claude key. Without a key, the AI fleet admin's daily review is built from MissionDuty's own rules. The one exception is support: our AI support assistant answers what you send to support on MissionDuty's account.

Is the AI fleet admin included?

Yes, at every fleet size and in the launch offer: every feature is included in the per-vehicle price. It runs on your organisation's own Claude or ChatGPT account.
